Abstract

Microcontact printing is a useful technique which is widely used in the patterned functionalization of surfaces. In this study we have used MeV ion beam lithography to fabricate stamps in PDMS for printing patterns of cells and biomolecules, such as osteosarcoma cells. This was done to investigate how the signals from different spatial density and shape patterns affect dynamical cell proliferation. Additonally, the other interesting application using MeV ion beam lithography to fabricate the cell micro-spotting plate can reduce reagents antibodies for dramatic cost reduction.
